Fit three kids on the T4R really well with decent storage still. I just don’t get wanting something that’s such a compromise (bad space, bad economy,’luxury price).

    I'd pick a 4R over a Sequoia too.

I've been saying that for a while, looks so much better than the tundra front end. Hopefully it changes at some point.

Yeah, I was surprised the Sequoia was rebooted. Kind of a meh and expensive vehicle that has never sold well.

It must suck to be the kid in the middle and for the parents hearing the fighting on long trips.

They would be fighting on top of each other if I had a 747. Headphones, iPads, and no sugar so they’ll sleep.

Seriously going backwards, who in the hell still uses high lifts!? Good way to break your jaw. I swear some of the ass backwards shit Toyota has done on this truck is mind boggling. Like two steps forward and three steps back.

Hydraulic floor Jack on a skid it where it is at. Don’t need to lift the truck as high to change a flat, no suspension droop.

Pretty sure the Tacoma will have high lift jack points but not a high lift jack. But I’m sure the dealer will offer one at 1.5X suggested retail price.
High lift is good when axles are buried in sand or mud. Bottle jack takes up less room and works well/better in most situations. I can see the need for both.

High lift jacks are for recovery purposes. They have never been for lifting and working under a car.

Trying to visualize being stuck in 2 ft of mud and pulling out a floor jack or 3 ft of snow . That is what the High lift jack is for

I've been crawling for almost 20 years and used a HiLift once. I used my bottle jack to remove tires on a 6k pound LC with a 3" lift and on 35's. Worked perfect every-time. Used it to recover from a high center situation a few times on a friends 4Runner too. Best tool that comes standard with the truck.

Not every off road jack situation involves 2 ft of mud. There are times and places for many approaches and many types of equipment

Holy shit did you just answer your own question? No where did I say you had to use the highlift jack but it's a Tool you can use if need be . Toyota gave ppl an option if they want it . Obviously I'm never going to use one as I'm not taking a truck like that and putting it in a situation without friends that have winches . But I'm sure there are people that are happy to have it .

You said “nobody uses a floor Jack”

but people do, a lot, because not every situation is 2’ of mud. Sorry your comment was inaccurate

In Canada on the terrain where I live a floor jack would not be an option, sorry reading compression is hard for you. I literally said a floor jack would not work in every situation. I said the high lift jack is a tool for people who want to use it . Not sure why it's so hard for you to grasp that Merica is not the only place in the world
