    I have 97 3.4 4x4 manual, the stock lights are not cutting it. Suggestions for upgrades holding off on a lightbar for now.

    You can upgrade the housings, harness, and bulbs and get superior light to say led options.

    Since you’ve got a ‘97 you have a lot of aftermarket options, most all 5x7/7x6 lights should fit. I recently picked these up:

    and you have to get a harness adapter like this one

    I’ve been really happy with mine, super quick and easy install. They were a massive improvement from before, very bright so make sure you adjust them correctly or you’ll be blinding everybody.
