    Yea, I don’t get the pricing of vehicles anymore. I’m sure the TRD Pro or Trail hunter are going to be more than that tundra.

    The Tacoma I posted has the highest priced option. Having an option that adds 10k is kinda ridiculous too.

    It's disgusting watching consumers willing to participate in that kinda nonsense. Five year loan on that is probably $1k/month or near-enough. I go back to trying to find measurable benefits to what a $50k vehicle can offer me over a few-years-older model for $25k. Sure newer is "better" but how is the 'better' realized? Quieter? 3mpg more-efficient? Higher insurance rates? is the 'truck' more capable off road or on in a way anyone could measure? And if anyone could measure it, is that difference worth $25000? Is the difference worth buying two older vehicles? Or one older vehicle and a few acres atop a mountain somewhere to hunt and camp? I tell ya, the older I get the more I shake my head and mumble at things.

    Until the prices came out I was (and still am a little) considering getting a 24. I wanted a long bed and some extra features that are not on mine. After seeing the prices, I don’t think that’s gonna happen unless my 3M is a huge payout and my wife does not put it away for our sons college :rofl:

    We are looking at getting a midsized SUV, leaning heavily towards a grand Highlander. I can’t believe that those things are as expensive as they are too. Everything around that size is about the same price too or just a little less. We want to stick with Toyota for reliability and value, and that costs a little more.

    Update on the house -

    VA is full of shit. They appraised it at $30,000 less than our agreed-upon price. Also listed a few completely-un-related-to-value things that must be corrected. Here's the thing: The sellers agreed that if WE fix the list, they'll accept the lower amount. So we're saving $30k on this place. I don't yet have the list, though my relator said nothing is going to be hard to do - and she'll show up on a work-day to complete them. Once I get the list, if anything looks beyond my skillset, I'll ask the group if anyone can help. More to follow...
