Double Cab Short or Long Bed

1st off, Joined today!

2nd, I have a delema and I'm looking for some info. I am looking at Tacomas but I'm not sure if I should get a Double Cab with a short bed or get it with a long bed. I want to build it up an use it for off roading but I don't know if the length will have any difference. Also, I plan on putting a 3 inch lift on it but I don't know if I would be forced to get a higher lift with a longer bed for better clearance. Thank you.

 

From what your saying sounds like you need a short bed. You can get the offroad and it will have a rear locker. Short bed is also better for offroading.

 

Thanks, thats what I needed to know, I think I'm going to get he Offroad package too, just found out a HUGE difference between the trucks! looking forward to posting way more soon!

 

I got my short bed offroad and haven't regretted it once.
