Is the backlight color yellow or orange? I'm trying to find a matching color to pathfinder prowlrs.

The backlight is a true amber color. This photo I took is a pretty good representation of the backlight color through a yellow lens.

Yes, red and black go on one switch and the blue one goes by itself on another switch.

You can add 4 lights to 1 switch depending on the lights. Check the amperage draw for each light and add the up. Then go with that number for your fuse.

Question since we are on this topic, so I shan't have to create a duplicate thread..

I'm placing some ssc2s as rear lights, but would like to use the back light function (red) to ignite when the brake pedal is pressed.

The primary beam is going to be wired through a relay, but for the backlight wires- should I simply tap into the brake light wire? or use an add-a-fuse and tap into the fuse block? is there a fuse there for only the brake light (hi) ?

Any advice/recommendations? Id rather do it the right way, even if it is more complicated.

No need for fuse, tap the brake wire with sealing tap (posi-tap) or have @daveeasa sell you a T tap connector for the brake lamp wire.
