What are my options for more switches in my '22 trd OR? Ive seen inserts for these panels with more switch blanks for tacomas that have the cubby, but i dont think I've seen ones for tacomas without the cubby.20231206_163534.jpg

Not sure if applicable, but I’ve ran nilight in my second gen and other trucks without issue. They have plenty of switch options and are cheap

Switch-Pros would go up top in a Meso panel, but I’m not sure you’d have enough room for the others in the bottom.

Might have to hide one of lesser used ones (Auto High Beams) behind the panel.

Check out @switch. He has a pretty cool switch panel for the center console.

Just replace the panel. Google is your friend. I literally typed in "tacoma driver side switch panel"

And will remind you of its presence every time you enter the vehicle, at least for anyone 5’ or taller. They should toss in some knee pads with that kit.

When I added the Baja Designs S1 cornering lights, I was out of switch positions in the Fitztaprint dash panel. Then I had the idea of that 9-switch panel so each light could be controlled separately. Since I already had the Fitztaprint panel, I rewired those switches to control multiple sets of lights. The Front light bar switch in the dash now turns on the bumper light bar and both cornering lights. The side light switch turns on all four side lights (two on each side of the truck). If I had thought of the 9-switch panel before, I would not have used the Fitztaprint switch panel for any of my lights.

I made that 5-switch panel that fits next to the Qi charging cubby in the center console as a proof of concept project. But I actually installed a similar version in that position that has gauges and a switch for my dual battery setup and a place to put my cell phone.

So, I only have 16 switches in the cab (not 20). But I also installed 8 switches in the bed that control some of the same lights as in the cab plus some others. So that puts the total at 24 if you count the cab and the bed together.
