Long travel control arms with mud travel shocks?

2017 white Tacoma TRD

Is it possible to run mid travel springs with long travel upper and lower control arm? I love the look of the wider stance but don’t have the money right now to buy everything that goes into a full long travel setup. Obviously I’d have to get extended CV axle’s but other than that would it work?

If you want a wider stance just adjust your wheel offset untill you can fund a full long travel set up?
