2018 rear window

Just got a 2018 Tacoma and the powered sliding rear window will not slide. When you hit the button you can hear the window motor working. I'm guessing it has come off track. Any recommendations how to fix?

 

Probably have to take it apart and see.
Honestly; if it’s sealed, I wouldn’t F with it, it’s not not much use anyways.

 

Sort of thought the same thing. I just hate having things that don't work

 

Check fuse, and I believe also press and hold reset ?

 

I know, and I was being a bit of hypocrite,,, I don’t things not working either.
Maybe call around and see if they have a price and book time to replace the assembly? That’ll give you maybe the worst case scenario, and help you decide. I’m not really sure, but I thought I read the assembly is replaced as whole.
Either way; if you can hear the motor turning, I definitely would not mess with it, until you repair or disable it. I’d damn sure hate to get that thing stuck open,,, even slightly.

 

Definitely have to take the back wall apart and look. Its not very hard. Just takes time. I'd start there too.

 

Waste of time and money . I have opened that window once in 4 years .
