    Hi,

I just joined the group but have been lurking and reading pages for a few weeks now.
I've owned my '23 TRD Sport for a little over a month now. Picked up a set of Fuel wheels 17x9 +1 and Toyo Open Country AT3s in 265/70r17.
I don't off road but I want it to have a good stance and don't want any rubs or to do any trimming.
I can't seem to find any clarity with several pages I've checked online or on forums.
I am considering the Rough Country 3" front and 2" rear kit. From what I've read upper control arms are recommended but Rough Country control arms are for 3.5" kits. Also, it doesn't look like a lot of others I've seen do this kit didn't replace the control arms.
So is replacing the controls arms definitely required? Especially if I want my camber closer to zero?
Or would a 2" front and 1" front be the way to go to clear my choice of wheels?

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

Thank you guys kindly for any info.

3 and 2 really does need control arms. Even 2 an 1 leveling kits benefit from it. I align a lot of leveling kits and it sucks to do without arms.

Basically arms let you lock in the alignment and save tire wear over time.

Also budget for the ECGS bushing, most leveling kits cause vibrations in the drivers axle.

Ya, I know UCA can definitely help with the alignment. But as mentioned, I couldn't find any concrete info about it. Or like I said, Rough Country doesn't seem to offer a pair to go with their 3 and 2 kit and any info I've seen of people use that kit didn't seem to use new control arms and their alignment looked correct (at least stock which is slightly positive camber).

I've also considered those bushings as I've read that on a different website I came across while researching info.

The thing is, leveling kits are all about budget solutions, its a cheap way to lift. If you needed arms, it would raise the price of it and put people off.

You don't need arms, I had a 2-1 kit no arms, but it helps a boat load.

I'd never run a spacer again personally, but if its for looks, go for it.

I am 100% only doing it for aesthetics. I am under a budget but not super strict where I'm unable to add a bit extra and do things correctly to achieve the proper clearance for my wheel/tire set up that prevents any need to trim. I'm considering the 3 and 2 as I think the 2 and 1 will still rub at certain steering angles and with suspension travel.

If you run a 3/2 and the alignment guy can’t get at least 2* caster they’re gonna rub I’m betting. As @Bishop84 said ucas help getting the alignment dialed in.
