HELP! 98 Lower Ball Joints

    Hey guys,

    Now, I’m running into the tie rod end bolt spinning with the castle nut not allowing me to suck it down to torque it…. New outer tie rod?

    Pretty quick and easy job.

    It'll "fall" into place.

    Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    If the spindle won't push in, you probably pulled the inner CV out of the cup.

    Might take a little wiggling, but it should slide back in and allow you to line everything up.

    Also, I hope the weight on the truck isn't on that sketchy wood block on the LCA!

    Did some wiggling and lifted the UCA and it did exactly what you said, fell right in. Thanks guys

    Just use your bottle jack to put some pressure under the tie rod end, and it will tighten up.
