I just got a lift on my Tacoma and am very new to having a truck. This is my first time having aftermarket work done.

I just got a 2.5-3inch lift using icon add a leaf and a wescot preload collar, which was recommended by the shop. It looks like the front end of my vehicle is a little taller than the rear.

upon measuring the front tire is about an inch further from the wheel well (measuring top of tire to bottom of wheel well) than the rear. Is this typical? Is that a good way to measure?

usually measure from the center of the wheel to the fender. From the pic it looks like the rear might be a tad higher but other factors can play around on it.

I don’t know about that lift spacer but maybe the pro starts out lifter higher already with the fox suspension? And the 2.5-3” is too much for the single add a leaf in the back. I want to say the Pros are 1” higher than the rest but my memory sucks.

Good luck figuring it out but your trucks looking good overall! Without you saying something I would not have noted if the back was higher or not. Wouldn’t have even crossed my mind.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
It does look a little too high in the front, even without considering the rear. The rear will likely settle after a couple hundred miles.
If you jack it up, how much down travel do you have? Measure hub to bottom of fender with the wheels on the ground, jack it up and measure same points.
Note that unless you go with Long Travel up front, you have a fixed range of up and down travel. The further up you you go, the less droop you have. That results in the chassis getting upset when hitting pot holes and the like. Makes for poor ride quality which in my opinion is why one would pick a Pro.
I prefer to keep it to ~2" for performance.

What’s the measurement from ground to fender front and rear. That will real quickly give ya an idea. Also if they did a 3/1 lift you’re gonna be nose high, I’ve yet to any Toyota with 2” of rake.
