    Tightest bolt on the truck. Be careful because the door hinges can get bent out of position which causes the door to appear misaligned. I had to use impact gun the MF-r was so tight. Mine bent but I didn't notice until later, but it is straight now.

    Halfway to the big kids table... got the Icon RTX pack installed today.

    SSO sliders and raising the 6112's on the front end tomorrow. Maybe also the WARN EVO 8 if time permits.

    Mrs Claus told me to go ahead and purchase the Badland 3-ton offroad jack at Harbor Freight to make it all possible (gravel driveway here).

    TBH my son did the majority of the work today. He has moved on from Tacomas to vintage Dodge/Cummins but he's still allowed to visit during the holidays.

    Update after lift -->

    #3 Philips and some good pressure worked on mine. Others have tried a #2 and had no luck (okay, I take that back, someone on the forum has had success).

    With all the suggestions, maybe it's not as controversial as first thought. It's certainly not the only non-essential tweak I've made and won't be the last.

    Transmission fluid change is tomorrow’s fun. Was gonna do front diff as well, but we put the fluid somewhere good and couldn’t find it. Guess I need to order some more.

    Congrats. I've learned over many years it pays to use quality and proper tools for any job. If you think that's a scratch maybe you need a mercedes not a truck.

    Your mom did good. Props to mom it’s a really nice piece, very unique.
    (Sorry she had to deal with a jerkoff). Very nice gift. :cheers:

    Yup, the angle is making the struts work harder than the need to for sure. I had Spiker struts on my ‘19 and have them on both my other vehicles, figured I’d try this “no drill” option here. The Sokies are much stiffer (highly charged), presumably to compensate for the angle. As far as closing it does rotate and close as you’d expect

    So far they do lift just as well as the Spikers did, will see on longevity, but plenty here have had good life out of them. If they fail it’s not like it’s a commitment to take them out

    I'm over 3 years on my set, still working flawlessly. A little slow in the cold thats it.
