What are the best LED headlights to get for my 2003 taco? Mine need to be replaced ASAP and there are way too many choices online. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Just so we're clear.... this bears repeating.

I would look into the "ultimate upgrade", or just get new CAPA certified housings (from Rockauto) with some nicer bulbs. I have Sylvanias and they work fine, the ones that come with the Rockauto housings aren't that great.

Or spend the cash for a full on retrofit. Honestly, I don't think you get enough of a performance advantage to justify the cost.

With a new set of high quality housings (CAPA cert or OEM), I've never had a problem seeing in the dark in any situation.

If you're wanting extra light for off-roading, you need a light bar or pods.

That would be a great option if you were gonna trade the truck in later that day. It’s been my experience that all those restoration processes just don’t last. The rock auto/ Sylvania is the safe bet.

Thanks for the confirmation on that! I had them in my cart and then gave it a second though.

I just looked on rock auto and saw some TYC brand for about $30. I think you’ll be real happy with those.

On a whiteness scale, how would they do matching up to some led marker lights. I put some in my marker lights recently and now my headlights look like a c battery flashlight shining through a bottle of apple juice.

I’m running the TYC headlight housings with whatever bulbs they shipped with and have been perfectly happy with them. I swapped all my other bulbs to LEDs and nothing feels particularly unmatched.
