I recently bought a 1996 red Toyota Tacoma that’s in need of some fixing up. One of the things that’s needing is repainting the black trim around the windows, and I have a couple questions:

    1. How do you get the remainder of the paint off?

    2. What kind of paint would you use? Could it be brushed on? What kind of sealer?

Thanks for any answers. I haven’t done any painting on a vehicle before, and want it to look good and last.

Just take some sandpaper to it, tape it all off and rattle can it.

Thanks! By rattle-can, that’s spray paint, right? Any suggestions for type of paint?
