Good Afternoon. Thank you for the condolences. The trip yesterday was pretty easy. Light drive with little traffic. We did have a 15 min delay because a semi rear ended a car at the I95 and I270 split on the DC beltway. I can bet the car saw that they missed the I270 exit and tried to make the turn too late. I hope no one was injured.

Kind of strange being in my SIL's house and she is not here. Viewing on Tuesday, funeral on Wednesday and we drive home on Friday.

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!!

It's been raining since early afternoon yesterday - water is now flowing down our road so it won't be long before it erodes and flows into our yards. Hoping it stops before it gets much worse.

Was sick all day yesterday, stomach bug. Still feel like crap this morning but I have to go to work. Headache, body aches, hot and cold. I only work 2 days this week so I have to go in. I don't get sick very often so when I do I'm miserable. Back is rally achy. I took some ibuprofen to help with the aches and headache.
I got a new planer for my wood shop and I didn't even play around with it, just didn't feel good, no joy.

I don't think so, I've had covid before so I kinda know what it's like. We'll see how I feel in a couple of days.

    Morning all.
    Pretty sporty out.
Gusts well over 50mph, monsoon rain and power flickering.
    Heard limbs crashing all around.

I've had COVID three times now, it felt rather different each time; good luck and take care of yourself.

Good Morning Everyone, Have a Great Day!

We got together with friends we've gotten together for 41 yrs to bake Christmas cookies. we managed to meet at our house or theirs every other year except 1-possibly 2. First time COVID lock down. We could not figure the other so it was a nice weekend.

Mornin' everyone - finally got my Mrs' boxes ready to go....... so off to the shipper lines today, she always waits to the bitter end! Patience required .........(toe tapping sound).

Has anyone noticed the reduction in cell service lately? With the increase in "Gs" they have successively raised the radio frequency - and the tower reach has dropped accordingly. To get things back to (sort of) working as it had been, they've been putting up towers like crazy around here. It isn't as bad as I remember when my boss sent me off with a "bag phone" - but the number of bars on my current signal meter has been dropping - and several people have told me about dropped calls.

Yes I have I figured it was just my cheep Trac phone, I have total by Verizon. Been on it for years if you count Total. No contract. Fair price considering I'm covering the cost for my 2 kids. I haven't been under contract for years and I don't miss it. Sometimes I wish I could get rid of Google's nanny bs. Like tell me what you liked about this place or you drove more miles this month then last. I've had it tell me I'm sorry you feel that way once when I was telling a friend I couldn't stand that BS. Both he and I looked at each other in disbelief.

The increase in bandwidth came at the expense of TV frequencies. Part of the plan to get rid of over the air TV.

Good Morning. I was able to get my suit to the cleaners this morning for same day service. Next up is buying a new dress shirt. All my shirts are too big. I see more donations in my future.

:fingerscrossed: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Hope everyone gets to felling better quick; think I'm flirting with some stomach bug. But I have truck to assemble in sunshine, and nice if not warm temps. That should help. Everyone enjoy your first Friday of the week.

Is that why we have been seeing more pixelating on cable also, been a lot of complaints about it locally on one of our 2 carriers.plus they have gone through a lot of upgrades and price increases.
