Toyota Tacoma Transfer Case Differential Fluid Change Kit - 2016-23 Eurol

Hi Anybody using this kit. I'm thinking to change these fluids in my 2021 Sport at 30,000 mi. Just wondering if it is enough or should I order spares to have just in case. Thanks Scott

Just be careful
For the two rear ends you are good with this . Even though this says ok for the transfer , look into it for that . Because the gears are brass most Diff fluid can deteriorate the gears over time . Also don’t feel like you need 75W -85 . You can run 75W -90 gear oil
I run Amsoil Severe gear oil in that weight . They come in nice squeeze pouches and are very easy to work with .
Just remember a few things
Buy new crush washers
Open the fill plug before the drain plug
The front diff can be a pain, make sure the Allen key socket fits perfect , this drain plug has a tendency to be very tight and strip easy. Spray the outside with a rust bust type stuff the night before .The transfer case you really should use the Toyota stuff or the Ravenol fluid . I think maybe redline has a compatible fluid also

 

use the ravenol brand kit, from the same place, Blauparts. I did that this summer. Ski

Turbodb has part numbers for front differential drain and fill plugs with 14mm hex head bolts on his AdventureTaco website which is a very worthwhile upgrade if you are changing your front differential fluid. Ref. link below:

The plugs definitely work on first and second generation Tacoma's and the consensus is that they work on third generations also.

 

I used one can of the expensive OEM fluid. I did not spill any, so one can was enough.
