Just bought a 23 Tacoma SR, Low beam lights very dull, not a bright as I thought they should.
We also have a 23 4Runner SR5 Premium with different results is this Normal?

Are you sure you have the low beam on and not just the fog lights?

The stock bulbs are designed for long service life but don’t put out very good light. A simple bulb swap will provide significantly better results. The best bulb available is running the Philips H9 in your low beam. All the headlight info is in the 3rd Gen headlight thread, see post #2.
