I have a 3rd gen with the standard audio package, and am looking to replace the stock door speakers as I already am running an amped 12” sub. Would i be able to run aftermarket door speakers with the stock headunit wattage or would I need to amp them? Looking to do alpine type r 6x9 and 6x5, running a alpine type r 12” sub at 1000w 2ohm

alpines are power hungry. it's really best to run them off a 4channel amp
