    Hey folks.

Recently I received my Fox 2.5 kit (f/r) and UCA's, but of course couldn't be patient enough to wait for my purchase of some dakars.

Being that I went with the extended rears but hadn't lifted the rear yet, there was only about 1.5" of compression available after installation. To prevent any damage from being done to the shocks, I threw in a set of 2" blocks and u-bolts in that I had just collecting dust. Yes, blocks, flame on, they'll be gone when I can afford the dakars later on in the year.

After install, I noticed that at full droop, there's an awful lot of strain on the parking brake cables. I know there are extension kits for the hydraulic brake hoses, but what about the parking brake? Even with the suspension settled on the ground, you can tell there's not much down travel available before the cable gets quite tight. I've fiddled with and slightly bent the brackets which attach to the sides of the leaf packs, and it's freed it up just slightly. I thought about putting a small spacer (using a longer bolt) between the bracket on the leaf and the guide, but then the bracket does start getting uncomfortably close to the tire.

Has anyone else come across this, and if so, what have you done?

My ebrake cable just broke after less than 30,000 kms. OME leaf pack. Probably about 2.5" lift in rear. Not sure yet what caused this. Lift releated??? Don't know for sure

Here is the kit I linked in the post above. Looks hokey but it does the job.
