YIKES. We flickered a couple of times the other day and I had to retrieve a few branches off the garage but that's it.

Crap, I could have brought my grill over if you wanted to roast up some food so you didn't lose it :(

It was a good excuse to go out to eat with the family. The toughest part was being surrounded by power. If everyone was out, fine, but otherwise it was more annoying.

I got the furnace going a few times so the house was fairly comfortable, I was just bored without anything to do. My Mom just got over pneumonia again, so dragging over a sick kid didn’t feel like a good idea.

Once the generator is broken in, everything will be smooth sailing.

I looked up that Champion generator, $650 for that one isn't bad at all! Mine's not an inverter generator so it's full gas, full time. The inverter generator would be nice but I'm not buying another one.

I have an appointment after the new year to have a transfer switch installed. That will make things much easier next time.

True re the eating out, let someone else do the work.

I'm more stressed this week about that stuff b/c wife is doing final exams for her classes and of course she's already on edge.

I have dirt kings on the bottom and SPCs on the top. If they need new BJs/rod ends/bushings I want to just toss some beaters on there while I rebuild them (or in the case of the SPCs replace with dirt kings, I'm sick of dealing with them). Don't want to have the truck sitting in the shop waiting on parts and my winter wheels/tires don't need the extra adjustability.

Anyone been to Emerald Mall lately? Starting to remind me of Lincoln Mall towards the end. Most of the 3rd level is empty, escalators are broken, roof is leaking. It was kind of quiet tonight being 5 days before Xmas. N. Attleboro is even starting to use the parking lot for storage.

Bellingham was always bad with the salt. It's probably good they used it. There was a lot of ice on my drive to work this morning.

There’s not much reason to go to the mall anymore. I don’t think I’ve been there since last year to go to Macys to get a new suit coat for a wedding. A big portion of the parking lot is storage for an RV dealer. I bet they tear it down and build apartments.

I don't think I've seen anyone park at the end of the mall lot in a long time. I occasionally go there for Newbury Comics or FYE since I still buy CDs, if I'm in the area.

I was more waiting for someone to ask ‘what’s a CD?’

Meh. The Newbury Comics in Norwood is still good for CDs, and maybe Warwick too. The FYE in Attleboro might be a only somewhat decent location I've been to for CDs depending on what you're looking for. I'm not into records or streaming services.

Any idea what type of adhesive? Or is the double sided tape good enough?

Same re Norwood though I don't get up that way often. I have records, because my wife has a crate from her teenage years. Need to get a table for them though.

That stuff should work, same idea for my window shades on my old truck. 5 years and they never came loose.

I like older movies and went to Newbury in Norwood a couple of times to look for used DVDs. Never had much luck. I had much better luck at yard sales and have very good luck at Goodwill stores down here in Texas.

Just have to wait for it to stop raining, which should be Sunday. Tape should be here tomorrow.
