I haven't found a dealership with photos yet, so I doubt any dealers have received a truck just yet

Have heard long time Lexus clients were complaining about how huge the grills have become.

Not terrible with a little lift. Looks like some futuristic alien moon rover.

It’s got a V8, I could learn to love it.

Too bad they won’t make any more.

The first thing I'm gonna do is peel off that sticker to the left of the shifter..if it is legal to do so.

It appears to be a charging pad warning sticker.

Yeah, it's the last of the V8s. That's one of the reasons I bought it. I questioned my sanity (not uncommon for me lol) for doing it, but after driving if for a bit now I have no regrets except that I should have done it sooner. And the comfort level is amazing, which is the main reason I bought it.

The only other issue is that my wife likes it even more than I do, especially the V8 factor. She is more of motor head than I am.

My doc has me on steroids that give me Charlie Sheen Tiger Blood like reasoning abilities. I could still find myself back in Lexington sitting in the 4Runner, waiting for the dealer to open so I can trade for one I get to drive lol.

Nice! All teasing aside. Definitely eager to hear some real world thoughts on it.

More power to them. Everyone should drive what they like with no concern for what others think. In my case I can assure you I have exactly zero fucks to give regarding what others think about what I drive. If I did it might bother me that people think the grill is ugly. Hell, I think the grill is ugly too lol.

Just drove home in my scrappy 4WD 3rd gen access cab TRD Off-road manual transmission. Noticed my “windshield wiper fluid low” warning light was on. Guess I’ll have to add some -50•C rated fluid tomorrow.

Totally understood. Everyone's personal situation is different. In my case it's toy money from things I've sold and never replaced. It comes down to taking that money plus current vehicle (that is paid off) and buying something different with it.

For perspective, the discounted GX is about $62k not counting tax etc. That's in the ballpark of a mid-level trim F-150. So, I don't see it as an extravagance. And again, it has nothing to do with impressing anyone. Kind of hard to do that with that ugly ass GX grill anyway lol.

Whoa, I just had an epiphany. Design an aftermarket GX grill/hood that incorporates a non-functional skewp. Sweet, now I have something to do while I'm up all night on these steroids lol.

I really doubt this price in Canada, I mean it's way way cheaper than US prices. A fully loaded TRD OP is US$54000, but in Canada only $CAD58000??? This can't be real. The rate is like 1.33 now.
