Most of the big brands are about the same. My dad swore by Shell Rotella in my mom's '07 diesel Silverado and had me on Valvoline for my first car ('99 Tacoma). Me personally, I usually go with what's on sale at the time. As long as it's a reputable brand, I'll use it.
