    Yeah….if you want to believe that it’s fine. They appear brighter because they just throw light around uncontrolled. Just wait til the condensation inside the lens shows up.

    Everybody needs to relax. This isn’t high school. Your seniority doesn’t give you license to be a db. This bs is what devolves entire forums. Someone looking for help doesn’t have to just take sh* from someone because he’s an FNG. It’s the OP’s truck, not yours, you don’t have to live with it. You wanna give him a heads up that you don’t think those lights aren’t a wise decision, cool, you don’t have to be a dick about while they’ll guy is obviously having a hard time, frustrated, and reaching out for help.

    Done this a ton of times. It’s not clean but it’s not the end all. How often are you removing your positive terminal? And as I said in my prior post, if OP wants to keep it clean and get rid of the shitty open ended terminal then he can crimp a new one.
