How often are you guys lubricating your front suspension points like the lower control arms, struts, etc? To avoid squeaking or binding.

Nev-ar. :-D at least, not on my 1st gen.

OEM rubber LCA bushings are not designed to move, the rubber twists. When installing LCA's or bushings, you can put a little on the bolts but mostly to avoid rusting. If you've/someone has put polys in, use a silicon-based grease before install to avoid squeaks. Petroleum based grease deteriorates rubber, not sure if it affects poly but ES bushings recommend their proprietary grease which is sticky as glue and silicon based. Same concept, not really designed to move so you're not lubing them the grease is just to avert squeaks if they do move a little.

OEM ball joints are closed, not actually sealed, no grease points, generally you replace the LBJ's at least every 70K or sooner. Shock bushings, pretty much the same, I see no reason to grease them but if you do use something silicon based. Some aftermarket LBJ's have grease zerks but I wouldn't trust them.
