Got a great deal on a trailer and some goats!

 

The carabiner/cleat are the scariest parts.

Kinda an embarrassing load to show off but I’ve only had this truck a little over a month. And I did build that headache rack myself back in 2016 or so

 

I started using the taco for my tree service. 2017 with the big 2.7L in-line 4 cylinder. Drags the 5k lbs. lift around the flat parts of ohio just fine. I don’t think the transmission would last very long doing this in Pittsburg though. It’s got about 6-700 lbs in the bed plus the tongue weight of the lift which is about 500 lbs or so. it fits in areas other guys can only get to with mini skid steers. Got the ram for the heavy work.

 

Also hauls light fabrications and dumpster finds

 

What kind of storage system is this guy using? It looks similar to my ram set up and would probably help me get stuff out of the cab.

Absolutely loving it here!

 

Overloaded my single axle trailer… She did just fine.

Didn’t even go over 4K climbing steep long hills fighting head winds. I’m on 33s, 2” lift, roof rack, sliders, front stump bumper and winch. Also had like 500 pounds in back of my truck.

Truck is a little beast, tons of power.

 

The starter on my snow blower died so I took it to a small engine repair shop. I know that’s lame when so many people are skilled at repairs on this site, but I felt I was a little out of my depth (working on developing skills though). Anyway, I got it back today just in time for the snow that’s supposed to hit tonight.

 

Cabin getting a new fridge, and new old canoe.

 

why not use the rack on your truck? wouldnt the canoe positioned like that cause a ton of drag?

 

Helped my dad haul a garden shed that we made fit in a short bed with liberal use of straps and bungie cords. The forward folding tonneau cover definitely was an improvement here over the old conventional trifold one that would have had to come off entirely to free up bed space.


Then loaded up a bunch of potted plants and a maple tree three times the height of the truck and drove across town while wondering if I'd hit a streetlight or traffic light

 

This was pretty much the week after I bought the truck. At that point I didnt want to run straps anywhere near the paint! Haha. It was a one time and one way trip, was not too worried about drag.
