I keep seeing these and people make a big deal about the seat angle. I have never had an issue with my seat angles both in the 97 and the 2014. I wonder if it has to do with how tall or short people are.

 

Id like to try some and see if they make a difference

To make better use of the W530, I ordered a 1TB SSD for it as that will be the dedicated gamer rig. Didn't realize until this morning that Fallout 3 save files are saved locally lol

Will be nice getting rid of the HDD for much faster response times; surprised it has a SATAIII controller

You encouraged it when you reinforced the good decision on the T42; I'm just surprised how fast it is and it was $50!

Only downfall is the battery holds a charge for like 2mins.

The W530 holds a charge for a reported 3-4hrs, and it's a treat to game on for Fallout.

I still dig your retro setup even more though.

 

I bet someone still sells a good aftermarket battery for the T42, those were massively popular laptops. Rayovac used to make some aftermarket batteries for lappys. I'm still trying to find a battery for my Toshiba Libretto 50ct and 75ct
