If your not adding much weight to the truck, Bilstein recommends you keep the stock coils. Love my 5100's set @ 2"

Negative off set will increase the odds of rubbing, lift or no lift..

Good evening everyone,
I have a question regarding my 2021 SR5 Tacoma:
I am wanting to upgrade my current wheel and tire set up that I am running. Currently I have
PT946-35160-02 Toyota Tacoma 16" Matte Black Alloy Wheel with 25mm offset, Tires are 265/70/R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's on stock suspension. I am currently looking at the Method Race Wheels 305 NV 18x9 Bronze with black ring with options of -12 offset with 4.5" back space, 0 offset with 5" back space and 18 offset with 7.5" back space:

Tire wise I was looking to stick with the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's with with either 285/65/18, 285/70/R18 or 275/65/R18, 275/70/R18.

And lastly Looking at going with a three inch to 3.5" lift.

My question/concern is mainly in regards to the offset of the wheels. Seeing as the stock offset for the tacoma per a quick google search is 25mm and I do really like the -12 and the 0 offsets. I just want to be sure that if I do select either one of those that it will not negatively affect the truck and components, but rather hope that it will simply give it a cool aggressive look and maintain the integrity of the truck and its parts.
