Hello everyone, I have a 2010 Tacoma and recently when I put the truck in 4 wheel drive it will blow a fuse every time. Any idea what the problem could be?

Start simple. Look for frayed wires, e.g., a short, bad switch.

Only when you put the truck in 4wd?

I can't see how it would be related, the stop lamp circuit is not connected to the 4wd system in any way.

It happened a couple times earlier in the year and was good all summer because I wasn't using 4WD. Then a couple days ago we had a snow storm and I used 4WD and the fuse blew, replace it with a new one. Truck was working fine, had some more snow this morning and I put the truck in 4WD and the fuse blew again. So yeah maybe it isn't related but it seems like it to me

I really don't think it has anything to do with engaging 4wd, I'd start with inspecting the wiring in the rear of the truck behind the bumper.
If you have a converter box for the trailer plug you may try unplugging that, those can cause all sorts of issues when they fail.
