It’s personal preference, price, weight, dimensions, bead grip or not

    used is cheaper

SCS wheels, FJ steelies, etc look good

icon and method are the only ones that offer bead grip.
    Aftermarket tends to offset wider.

17” is needed to clear better 4runner calipers. Some width is needed to fit big tires. Wheels sticking out can mean tires rub a wall to protect the body.

FJ steelies can also have plates welded on I forget what it’s called. But adds weight

or OEM Baja wheels but most of the time they’re listed for a price that’s pretty high for a small possibly narrow 16” that is not bead grip.

I have 701’s but think they added some weight.

Do you think that wheel spacers could fix the tire rubbing problem?

What have you found in your reading in the wheels and tires forum?

The specs of the wheel is a hugely critical piece of the puzzle, but 35's will require surgery regardless.

Have you regeared the truck? If not, it may become a slug with 35's

For $16k I'd buy a whole truck and run 33" skinny's on OE wheels. :D

Did you put an extra 0 in there per chance?

Plastic-dip the wheel holes and lug nuts black to match the rest of the rig.

the farther out a wheel/tire is the more rubbing there is, depending on what it’s rubbing
