    Question is, do you need a truck, or will the 4R do? It's pretty sweet.

    What are you waiting for? Buy the 4R!!! You can repair the Tacoma at a later date.

    3rd gen ran from 96-02. its was the best selling model for years until mid 5th gen and overlanding became a buzz word

    hood isnt worth 5k but i sold one for $600 a few months back haha

    edit;
    corect me if im wrong. this is a (Truck base) "Highlander" model before the Sport model was official, not to be mixed with the car based Toyota Highlander. I believe it had the "tall" springs which sat higher than any of the other 3rd gen years.

    4runner will do. I’m keeping my Tacoma also. Just might need some engine work as far as the misfire it has.

    there was some wet at the back of both valve covers but he said it’s just residual build up from when they did the half moons. The guy selling it works at my local Toyota dealer.

    Weird that someone that works at a Toyota dealership would not know the value of the Toyota truck he owns. I'm guessing he is giving you a deal because he knows you.... otherwise, go and buy it right away before he changes his mind.

    Hmmmm, sport but no supercharger, that’s odd

    Edit, if it’s got a rebuilt title, it’s very very likely the sport hood was added later, someone correct me if I’m wrong, but sport hood = supercharger

    If it seems too good to be true.....

    Although, it may still be a great buy if the frame is not tweaked or the body panels are aligned. Who cares if it is rebuilt, it only matters if you plan to resell it.

    Price seems a little low. I would try to offer more money, so it seems more legit. See if they'll take $9k, but go no lower than $7k. Definitely walk a $6k
