I got some king RR COs off a guy who had these mounted to a second gen tacoma. The problem however, and correct me if I’m being a blithering buffoon, but the mounts do not seem to work:confused: Am I doing something wrong? or are they not for a taco/my taco? By the looks of it, they don't seem to fit. I can’t seem to mount the sway bar to the bracket, because the brackets do not align, and the sway bar bracket is too short/blocked by the flanged bolts.

I noticed in the ICON spacer I had installed originally, the bolts were flush with the spacer (not sticking out at all). What are my options here?

Could I get a new bolt that is smaller, and flush? Say a flat head or Philips?

Could I do one bolt? I tried this, and it seemed tight, but the bracket could move a hair, and I'm 1) afraid of hit hitting the UCA (granted I could cut the RR amount) and 2) afraid that the force of the sway bar moving is too much for the one bolt mounting the spacer to the frame.

seems as though my only option is (outside of getting rid of the sway-bar) getting a new mount?

Is it not upside down? Im pretty sure the bolts should fit into the recessed holes in the sway bar relocation spacer. Thats what this is right? Thats the thing that moves your sway bar forward right?

If I follow what you're saying, you're saying the short stubby sway bar bracket bolts (i.e. the ones that bolt your swaybar to the frame normally, or the relocation spacer itself, should be switched? I tried to use the short bolts to bolt the spacer to the frame, and the long bolts to bolt the sway bar to the spacer/reservoir mount, but they don't fit into the frame holes and spacer holes (both 14mm sockets but bolt thickness is different).

It should have come with different bolts that recess into the bracket.

If you don't have them, should be easy to locate, they just can't have the flange like the factory bolt.

My thoughts, however, even if they aren't flanged, i doubt a socket would fit into the holes. would then have to be like, a 10mm socket rather than a 14mm socket

It shouldn't be a problem, or get some allen-head bolts.

That is smart as hell. Allen head bolt!! I’ll just do that.
