My son has 17x8.5, 0mm offset TRD pro replica wheels on his 2023 Tacoma off-road 4wd and he hit some black ice and damaged one wheel. Now I can't seem to find that size anywhere.

He has an Icon stage 4 set up, with the upper control arms - so according to them they recommend an 8.5" wheel with 4.75 inch back spacing to run 33" tires. He has KO2 285/70R217s on those wheels now with no rubbing after some plastic trimming.

If I cannot get a matching replacement wheel would a 17x8 with +5mm offset wheels work? As those seem widely available. They should have about the same backspacing. I assume it would just pull the tires in a bit from where they are but not too much and he could run the same tires?
