Hello all. I am new here and new with a Tacoma. I inherited a 07 from my Dad. The truck is a plain Jane base model 2wd and want to pass it to my 15 yr old son for him to drive. Being that it’s a plain Jane, I want to dress it up a bit and have started on a few things however, I am not sure on a rim and tire combo sizing. I would like to go as big as possible without scraping and from what I have read it’s saying 17x9 rim but not much on the tire size. Any thoughts out there that could help me and my boy would be great.

If it has 16" wheels, 265/75 r16 is probably what you're looking for. That's what I'm running.
