Random question of the day - I have a set of Baja Designs 2nd gen SAE fogs installed but noticed the top cutoff is not aligned between the two. Any tricks or recommendations to get them lined up straight? Thanks!

yes, put something in front of the truck, ideally 10-20' ahead so you can line them up. generally, you want a drop of 2" per 25' of distance to avoid blinding everyone on the road.

    Hey @kiwiyyc,

Exactly what @soundman98 mentioned, measure the distance between the center of the auxiliary light and the ground. Place a horizontal mark on the wall at that height. The visual aim is made with the top of the fog light beam 4 inches below the lamp center at 25 feet with the lamp facing straight forward.

With having the Gen 2 SAE, how are you enjoying them? Do you run any of our other lights?

    Best,
    Bill

    Hi Bill @Baja Designs,
Thanks for the additional detail and confirmation of @soundman98 excellent advice. The Gen 2’s SAE’s are in a word, awesome! I had them out in some of the nastiest driving weather we’ve had for a while - 3” wet, new snow over ice and in a blizzard. The Gen 2’s were amazing at cutting through all that garbage. Pretty impressive really. And yes, I’ve got a set of the Squadron Sports running as ditch lights - also impressive output .

I’ve read that most end up adjusting them to almost pointing all the way down, as silly as it sounds
