    Mostly agree with this except for tires and ditch lights, if actually driving off road in somewhat remote places. The OEM tires are not up to the task of gripping in slippery situations, nor can they handle sharp rocks.

    Factory front lighting with inexpensive H9's installed is actually pretty good. But seeing what's down that track to the right or left at night in the dark woods is impossible without turning the truck or getting out to inspect on foot.

    I don't like the traditional hood hinge mounts though. I'd love to see a stealthier solution.

    I agree, seems like the side mirror would be a great place to mount something.

    Not sure if this is relevant based on your location, but one of my initial "mods" (per se) is some good rust protection. I live in Indiana and it was my first concern given the rust rep these trucks seem to have.
