Safety Recall (Remedy Notice)

Hello Everyone, I couldn’t find a thread about this recall but I figured I should give you guys a heads up...apologies if this is old news but I got the notice last week.
Received a Safety Recall Notice for the 2018 Tacoma. It appears certain 2018-2019 model year Tacoma vehicles front brake Performance could be reduced. The condition is: due to improper manufacturing processes by a part supplier, a seal in certain brake master cylinders may become damaged over time and leak brake fluid immediately. The brake pedal feel could change, and front brake performance could be suddenly reduced. This could result in increased vehicle stopping distance. I contacted my local dealer and they have to order the part. I will be taking the truck in on the 15th, they said it should take about 5 to 7 hrs to replace the part.

My paperwork arrived last week and Toyota did the warranty repair nearly three weeks ago.

Fill out a complaint and submit it. This is the first step in getting Toyota to “eventually” fix it or possibly reimburse you in the future.
