    3.5 inch lift, 18 in pro comp rims w KO2 tires, Custom Bright Green Bedliner paint job, custom aluminum truck bed rack, Two person truck tent.
    Hi my name is Xon Im newer to Taco World. Owner of 2008 4 door shortbed V6 4.0 4x4 TRD Off Road Taco. Currently at 180k miles and looking to make some performance upgrades and want some feedback of what has worked well for others. Areas of interest for upgrades are as follows.
    1. Exhaust
    2. Air Intake
    3. Supercharger

    there’s a couple different forced induction choices to choose from
    They’ll likely require upgraded headers, Y pipe, exhaust, cam gears, potential WMI injection.

    sounds sketch to add boost to a weak aluminum open deck block with stock internals and a lot of money. On a truck that’s otherwise stock.

    not to mention the cost compared to an engine swap.

    Look up what maintenance is needed at this interval. Fluids in the diffs and tcase. Leave the motor alone…until you blow it up…then you can hit it with your purse

    All depends on cash. Y pipe. Headers. Cam gears. Tune all produce. SC is the largest contributor but is very pricey. I have tune, volant, and plenum spacer. I want a SC but it’s a min buy in of $7.5-8. Plus may as well do maint while you instal. Water pump. Maybe timing chain.
