    Anyone know lowest lift you need for 285s? I have a 2021 Off road long bed and have 285/70/17s sitting in the garage. What’s the lowest size lift I can put on without massive rubbing or CMC?! Don’t plan on off roading as I live in Indiana area. I see 2.5” in this thread with no rubbing and then see 3” with minor cutting needed lol. Just not sure if anyone knows for sure.

    I have 285/70/17 on a 1" spacer. I haven't noticed any rubbing so far.

    One of the biggest misconceptions I've seen on this forum is that IFS lift creates room for bigger tires. Lift only creates clearance at ride height, unless we're talking about drop brackets that move the entire shock travel downwards. If it rubs at stock height it'll rub with a lift. That being said depending on alignment specs and wheel choice you may require a cmc and some plastic trimming

    Looks awesome! I’m looking at this same tire. I saw you posted earlier that the MPG is pretty low with the E rated 16”…so I’m considering a 17” wheel with the D rated tire which only weighs 48lbs.
    What’s the offset on those Methods?

    What is your wheel offset? I have the older TRD Pro wheels that are 16x7 with a +13mm offset. Wondering if these are the same. I have the TRD Lift Kit (2/1) and want to run the Toyo Open Country AT3s in 285/75r16 with the Bora 3/4" spacers. I believe that I may need to do light trimming and nothing else. Thoughts?

    So much info out there to digest. I have some -10 offset SCS wheels waiting for a 2/ 1.5 lift. I can't decide what size tire. I will never do any off roading so I think I will be ok with 285's but can't be sure.
