Hello everyone. So im experiancing an issue where my right side DRL will randomly stop working. (No i dont have my parking brake on). I notice it when i pull into my drive way where i can see the lights on my garage door at night. Anyways, Ive been noticing that the drivers will randomly shut off. I checked my fuses and they seem fine. I have a feeling it could the DRL relay. Not sure tho. Ps i have morimoto headlights and raptor lights. Still new. I doubt that has anything to do with it. The DRLs work fine when i turn on the headlights so i know the headlights are not the issue. Its only when its in DRL mode is when it will sometimes shut off. Btw i have a 2018 offroad, im throwing that out because i know theres a difference from the SR5s. But anyways can someone help me out thanks.

I would personally start here? Or let’s at least put a pin in it….

When you say the DRL is randomly shutting off, is this only at night while the low beams are also on?

Which Morimoto headlights do you have?

The raptor lights; how are they hooked up? A harness tapping the headlight? Or straight to a fuse tap?

Also, just to clarify, is it the drivers side (left) or the right (passengers) side? Not that it’s super important, but it’s nice to know if we need it down the road for trouble shooting.

They work just fine with the low beams on. Its only when i have it set to day time running lights is when the drivers side will randomly shut off. I have morimoto XB headlights. And a plug and play harness that connects the raptor lights to the headlights.

Ok, that helps. So let's narrow it down a little more:
The raptor light harness: Is it hooked to the drivers side? Also, does it actually tap the headlight plug? There is a dark gray plug that is kind of square. It has places for four wires, but only has three in it. Should be Tan, Green, and White/Black stripe.
Do you have a voltmeter or test light?
