My truck doesn't have enough miles on it yet to warrant a TB or MAF cleaning, but I can attest to the fact that this stuff can help out in many applications. I have even used it successfully one time on a vehicle that was struggling to run. It was years ago on a Nissan Alitma I think and it was throwing a lean code or something like that. Checked all kinds of stuff with no luck. Decided to clean the MAF sensor/wire before replacing it and bam! Ran like a top! That was an unmodified vehicle but I think anyone running an oiled filter would especially benefit from cleaning. I now do this as part of a tune-up along with plugs, etc on vehicles with MAF's.

Busy couple days… Finished up overdue brake maintenance on the Taco and the wife’s curb crawler as well as installing her DD Elite fogs.
    Standing by for the :crapstorm:

I dig the Taco, of course, but I am strangely attracted to the minivan with the sweet choice of wheels and tires.

Hahah! Thanks… Get some pretty sideways looks. We just hit 10 years owning it and wife refuses to get rid of it. It is convenient having the same engine as my Taco. It’s an SE model that came lower and with heavy 19” wheels and she drug on every entrance/exit as well as speed bumps. So I swapped in XLE springs and struts with 2” front, 1.8” rear lift kit from Traxda. Tossed the 19’s for the KMC 17’s wrapped in Falkens of the same overall height and width of the stock tires but a lot lighter!

I take it your wife has never quite been convinced to add the 3 in lift to the minivan?

She was definitely not onboard. One of those instances where you take a “Need” and mix in a “Want” to help sell it. I was replacing the cv axles cause driver side was starting to tick and noticed two things; the under side of the front bumper was eaten up with road rash and the passenger side strut was starting to leak. So with it now “needing” suspension and a front bumper I shot my shot and pitched the idea. Took her silence as not being opposed to the idea and decided to ask forgiveness instead of permission. End result it steers and rides much better and hasn’t drug on anything since. “Happy Wife Happy Life”

You would love the look and capabilities more if you get rid of the chin-strap. I think it’s only like 10 bolts, EZPZ.

Thanks for the trivia. Definitely one of my favorites, whatch everytime it's on. That must have been a blast to work on the crew.
