Trouble is, that anymore weather forecasts are a 'coin flip' - it might rain, it might not.....it might snow, it might not.....
There, I just made a weather forecast!!!!

So my 25-06 is a rem 700 with a hard plastic butt plate, and that gets kinda slippery on hardwood floors, so I bought a universal grind to fit recoil pad on Amazon for $10 and the sucker is a near perfect fit, it's about 1/16" to small at the top but I can live with it. It makes the length of pull about 3/4" longer, which doesn't bother me because I'm 6'1, and it doesn't look too bad to boot. Of course I'm function>form anyway, but if I can get both, why not. I just had to put two screw holes in it and find longer screws

We are now only supposed to get < 1", but before bed last night it was 1-3" today. Just say it will probably snow today instead of guessing amounts????

Got my 2 cups of coffee in me, took my morning dump, everything is layed out in the basement. BUT, it is hard to get going with windchills around 20 degrees and likely very few hunters to move the deer around. MAY get up into the 30's later today when the snow is supposed to start falling. Hadn't typically seen any deer this year till after 8:30 AM. Debating on waiting a bit to go out or go now and sit in the dark for a half hour.

Cole decided to pass on going, so my motivation is lessened.

    It is HELL GETTING OLD!!!
