Dumb Question: is the 14 mm bolt on the underside of the frame VERY VERY tight, compared to the other 10/12 mm bolts on the frame?

Good news: I picked up a set of Caliraised sliders from a local dealer (Overland Outfitters) . Gorgeous powder coating. A couple of areas may need a very minor touch up after but that can wait. The CaliRaised video instructions are great too.

Bad news: I can't take off the 14 mm frame bolt - anyone else have an issue with this step? I started with a 14 mm wrench, which started to slip so I aborted that for fear of stripping the bolt head. I switched to a 14 mm hex socket on a ratchet but it started to deform the hex socket !!!

I bought some PB Blaster and let it sit overnight, still cannot budge it this morning. I sprayed some more and will try again later. A friend will bring over some better quality tools and an impact wrench.

But is the 14 mm super super tight normally? The other bolts were not a problem whatsoever.

    Enough for now
Try hitting it with a torch if it's not too close to anything important?

I did not have any issues getting it loose... it was similar to the others in terms of effort.

This is a thoughtful question, not dumb at all.

I bolted on my rock sliders 2 weeks ago and both sides' bolts came out same as any other. In fact, I reused both bolts with some anti-seize on them as they threaded back in smoother than replacement bolts and they still threaded up through to the frame top (long enough with slider on).

It's really tight. If you have one try an impact.
    Impact socket and impact wrench.

PB Blaster, as you've tried won't hurt anything.

Just FYI, if you are a long bed (I don't think you are) you actually don't have to remove it.
I found that out after I got it out.

6 point sockets, 1/2” drive breaker bar, and a cheater pipe have never let me down on any of my vehicle fasteners.

Warm it up after you've soaked it with penetrating fluid over night.
This trick worked many times for me.
