Hey yall. I’m using this diode dynamics heavy duty wiring harness to connect to an after market switch I’m using. My question is which wires go to what? And do I still need to tap into a fuse for the switch? Thanks IMG_0309.jpg IMG_0310.jpg IMG_0311.jpg

This is how I did mine, I assume the Blue, White, Black is from a relay.....
Red 2 is illumination when switch is not on, most people just wire it with the other 12V switched red.
I used a dual switch, so diagram yellow (4) on the switch will be your red2. I since tap to the Tail light 12v

Perfect thanks. I messed it up first and the switch light was on all the time even when the truck was on but I mixed up the red and green.

    For the "Tall" single switch:
    - Green should be connected to Blue - going out to the relay (85), when relay is closed, 12v turn on the light.
    - Red1 tap to a switched 12V circuit, if you only want to turn on ditch light if truck is running.
    - Red2 for SW illumination at night, tap to Tail light circuit
    - Black is grounding. connect to chassis ground together with the black wire from the relay harness.

Man I didn’t realize how careful you gotta be with those. One of the wires touched my crimping pliers and the lights started going crazy. Appreciate the help.

    Good luck, man.
I would suggest not to wire electrical things hot (disconnect batt. neg or not turn car on), you can short out many things and casued more damage.
