Looks like everyone is stirring the kettle tonight, wondering what’s for dinner.

Butt isn’t there one day where they get all crazy on the slopes, usually in spring

 

I made mac n cheese

 

2 lbs of pasta and cheese- going to freeze some of this. We often make big portions like this then cut into smaller ones and freeze em for future meals.

 

I remember that well, you have always had redundant systems, for everything. Ironically I build highly available and redundant systems for work. But only have one snowblower.

My blower is more than 20 years old and dragged it out of summer storage and started it up back at the end of September. Hard to believe haven't needed it yet but with the forecast started it up again today. SOB fired right up so topped it off with gas and put it back in the garage. If it doesn't start when I do need it now think instead of getting a new one I'll just say screw it and move South.

No I won't, but it sounds good in my mind.

 

We do the same thing with meat loaf

 

About 10” and storm is winding down. State roads are pretty clear, but local roads are shit.

our ice melted this morning. another front Tues. with snow that nite but turning to 1-2” of rain. if they miss this one we may get a good one. always heard 1” rain equals 10-12” of snow.

 

The wife’s at work. BK whopper, med fries...hold the f'n ketchup!

 

Winter is here. We'll have some mornings in the 30's this coming week.
