Snow day tomorrow!! One of my students pulled the fire alarm at school today. All 1,000 people had to evacuate. A day away from the place will be nice.

The weather guessers are estimating between 2 - 4” of rain tomorrow night. With the recent snow, that’s not good for the basements. Our average rainfall for the year is 48”; last year we were at 70”. This year apparently is starting off where last year left off.

Yeah, it is. There’s some roads around that have been closed due to erosion causing them to partially collapse. I just want to keep my basement dry. Too much stuff down there now that my daughter moved back home to keep it all off of the floor.

According to my Fitbit I walked 2,545,000 steps last year. That’s 1,070 miles. Roughly half the length of the Appalachian trail.

    evening gang....

4 more 32 gallon trash cans full of leaves burned, # 5 had to be put out once the wind picked up....

We had wind here for 2 days. Calmed down this evening. I can do without all that wind. Today was trash day and you'd think the trash companies would not run during windy days...nope. Now there’s boxes and paper plates on the street that didn't make it into the trucks or vlew out of the trucks. My can is still full because they were dumping into the wind so half the trash blew back into the can.

Isn't it windy there most of the time? Your trash would never get picked up.... but you'd think the company would come up with something to make it easier/cleaner.....

I had 16” of snow yesterday.
That rain and wind getting here today.
Blowed all around the house foundation for drainage. Once it starts raining, then freezes, it’s there till spring. Raked the roof so no backups.
0° right now. Funny it is going to be 50° tonight.

    It was a good storm.
Actually had fun blowing the snow across my property into my neighbors yard.
