Just waiting for an adapter so I can install a dash cam in my Tacoma. It will be the first time in any of our vehicles. Shit like this is happening more often.

I'm seeing more of this shit in Oregon lately too. It's usually wannabe street racers, or road rage of some sort.

 

The road rage here has gotten beyond obnoxious.

 

The stupid is strong nationwide, I guess. If there's one place to check your temper, it's behind the wheel.

That's why I finally loaded my hard drive full of music and a formatable jump drive. So I could just have all the music I want and quietly drive in one of the right lanes and let the yahoos do their thing.

 

Not necessarily in response to the road rage, but my wife and I did a round trip to NC from Buffalo and back in 5 days for Christmas. Never thought I could do it now, as opposed to younger years. But we learned the advantage of podcasts. We listened to 2 different murder ones, a different series for each trip. It made the experience enjoyable and time flew. A few people still annoyed me, but I focused on the story, and continued driving. I LOVE music, but this kept me engaged in listening, and not worrying about time, stops, other driver's etc. I kept an open mind as I always thought podcasts were boring. I was wrong.

My brother has me listening to a couple of wild history podcast, dark side of history, etc. I got to listen to that stuff for 8 hours straight without stopping.

If you don't like driving around people intent on breaking the speeding laws, stay TF out of the left 2 lanes....cause I will scrape the dirt off your bumper to get around you. Just got flipped off this morning for this exact reason. Saw it in my rearview as I was hurtling away from him. Just don't run a road block with the car next to you and you want have any problems. You're not a cop, you have no business making other people go the speed you want to go.

 

It all depends how you look at it. They claim 10,00-20,000 KW. That's 10-20 megawatts. But they don't say MW, so it makes you wonder if they mean 10-20 KW. A 20 KW generator can be had for about $6,000 not the $70-100 Million. A lot of the powerplants in the world put out less than 100 MW, so if its MW its competition, other wise it's got a long ways to go. Since they intend to commercialize it in the 2030's though, it's still 6-16 years away best case scenario.
