It would be a consideration to start with aftermarket headlight housings to be able to keep the OEM’s if you plan on selling the truck, and a lot of people recommend Depo due to the fact they know the butyl will soften in the oven so you can separate the lenses, so that’s likely $100. I had to having 99 headlights with factory obscured lenses.

I would recommend buying from a reputable company and getting bi-xenon (low and high beam switching), I went with Morimoto D2S, even getting them during a 25% off sale at The Retrofit Source I spent ~$400 inc tax, and added halos.

In my opinion, besides Tundra brakes, the single best modification safety wise. Vastly improves visibility in all conditions- not just distance vision, but clarity, cornering, inclement weather, and the ability of other drivers to see you.

I don't want to drill my roof. I do wish my truck came with it from the factory. Bad foresight to not buy this originally

You’re not kidding, there’s a lot of people on here who have lighter wallets…thanks to the ideas of others on here lol.

It’s a good modification in the sense you can always go back from it, especially if you keep the oem headlights and get aftermarket housings. Once you start to cut things or mangle things it’s point of no return
