We got like 5" of snow at work. Took the truck instead of the rav because I have studded snows on the taco. Good thing, had to go get my second shift IT girl and the roads were a sheet of ice under the snow. Around noon it switched over to a steady hard rain.

Now for some reason the dogs want to be outside in it.

 

Still raining pretty good here in my part of PA. My cistern has been full since the snow melt and I'm pretty sure the overflow goes into the weeping system around the house. Bought 40' of corrugated pipe yesterday and extended each gutter "bypass" into the yard with 20' of pipe each. Just opened the sump pit and there didn't appear to be any water in there. It did smell a little bit "earthy" down there so I turned up the fan on the dehumidifier/radon filter. Definitely got some water migration projects to deal with in the Spring. Water is by far the #1 enemy on a home!

 

Oh crap have to turn my dehumidifier back on. Thanks for the reminder

I have since lost power and am drinking beer by "candle light" with all the LEDs!

thanks. I’ve become a candle collector over the years. The clown that is in charge of New Jersey might almost call me a terrorist.

 

Yea my brother also has a nice candle collection. He actually called me the other day to tell me he bought another one that he will never use. He got a custom built sig p365 x comp.

 

p365 is on my list. It’s a great CCW gun I’m surprised he’d spend the money on it and not carry it. Did he get the spectre comp?

Not positive on spectre comp. But he is in the process of the ccw. Shit my father has been ccw long before I was born. Granted he served in the military for 27yrs. And retired chief of police.

 

My bro will go on these binges and buy a shit load of guns. Than he will calm down give it a couple months and he would call me saying check out what I just bought. I think he is up to 3 full size gun safes. He never shoots any of them.
