2001 Taco Owner - "Black Beauty"

In 2001, I bought an itty bitty black Toyota Tacoma, 2.4L, 2WD, standard cab, base model, with a step-side bed. Nearly 200,000 miles later, she's still my Black Beauty. Don't get me wrong, she's missing the front bumper from when I ran into a hidden short post. The passenger side door has to be slammed shut. The tailgate is bent from when I loaded my motorcycle into it. But, she's carried more than her weight, has been with me through owning three different businesses, gotten me anywhere I need to go. Mothballed her for over a year and recently started her back up, after replacing the battery, she purred like a kitten - true to form for those 1st gen engines. I'm going to be putting her back together and maybe making a few mods along the way. Glad to be part of this community.
