    Hi,
First, I love my new ride!
After purchasing this Taco, had running boards added at the Toyota dealer before pick up. I have elderly In-laws that could get into my old Tundra, albeit slow, but with the Tacoma needed my assistance. I even had to retrain myself due to the absence of an assist handle at the driver's side door.
My issue is the height of the running board. It's pretty close to the bottom of the door jam and there really isn't a way to "step" into the vehicle. If I knew this ahead of time, I wouldn't have put them on. Toyota will not take back these running boards and talking with an after-market shop, that's the way it is. Had side steps before, not a fan...
    Open to any ideas, thanks!
